POSITION: Enrollment Marketing Coordinator

SALARY RANGE: $45,000 - $55,000
Position Summary
The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, exempt role responsible for developing and executing marketing and outreach strategies that drive student enrollment and retention for Great Hearts in Baton Rouge. Now in its third year of operation, the school is transitioning from early launch to sustained growth, requiring strategic, data-informed marketing and strong local engagement. This role bridges national brand strategy with grassroots outreach, serving as a key driver of enrollment success through campaign execution, event leadership, digital marketing, and prospective family engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with campus enrollment goals.
Collaborate with Great Hearts America marketing and communications teams to ensure alignment with network-wide branding and strategy.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform marketing adjustments and outreach priorities.
Lead Nurture & Enrollment Funnel Management
Coordinate communications with prospective families, from interest through registration, including emails, calls, and robocalls.
Manage and lead school tours, including scheduling, hosting, and follow-up communications.
Track and report enrollment funnel health, identifying families who need additional support or outreach.
Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, preschools, churches, and community groups to promote school awareness.
Identify and secure participation in community events, fairs, and sponsorship opportunities.
Actively represent the school at events and ensure consistent and compelling messaging.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
Own the campus social media strategy and content calendar, with a focus on growing followers and engagement.
Train internal content contributors and coordinate user-generated content submissions.
Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy to increase reach and conversions.
Content & Collateral Management
Coordinate the creation and distribution of flyers, signage, handouts, and other branded marketing materials.
Maintain an inventory of promotional materials and ensure they remain current and aligned with brand standards.
Support digital campaigns, email marketing, and outreach efforts with quality content and design support.
Event Planning & Management
Plan and execute high-impact enrollment events, such as open houses and information nights.
Coordinate logistics including event promotion, staffing, setup, and lead capture.
Track event performance metrics and follow up with attendees.
Systems, Reporting & Operations Support
Utilize CRM and project management tools to manage outreach, track touchpoints, and optimize marketing workflows.
Aggregate key performance data for leadership reporting and continuous improvement.
Support front office and enrollment operations as needed to ensure a seamless family experience.
Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Creative, data-driven, and results-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; experience with CRMs and email marketing platforms preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in marketing, community outreach, or enrollment-focused roles.
Special Skills: Ability to work within an environment with constant changing priorities with enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence. Must have and be able to use personal phone for business communication on responsibilities.
Additional Requirements
Must pass background check, which is completed by the Louisiana Bureau of Criminal Investigation (LCBI) through IdentoGo, which includes fingerprinting and a signed statement authorizing the release of information from the LCBI to the school and acknowledge and sign the Privacy Statement.
Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.
Travel required: This role requires travel, and the candidate must have a reliable vehicle for transportation.
