What will I be doing?
We are seeking an exceptional Data Warehouse Administrator to join our dynamic team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our data infrastructure. The successful candidate will have expertise in database management, business intelligence tools, and data analytics. The Data Warehouse Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and support business intelligence initiatives. The candidate will build, maintain, and administer the data cloud environment.
Key Qualifications
ü Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable database systems to support business operations. Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and data modeling.
ü Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring accurate and efficient data processing and storage. Collaborate with data engineers to establish ETL processes and workflows.
ü Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis.
ü Collaboration: Work with internal teams to gather requirements and understand business needs. Facilitate training sessions and provide support for end-users regarding BI tools and database queries.
ü Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor database access and performance to uphold data integrity and security.
ü Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in database management and business intelligence. Participate in training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
ü Testing and Validation: Develop and execute tests to validate AI/ML model performance, accuracy, and reliability. Ensure model bias and fairness are addressed.
ü Code Quality: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Follow coding standards, best practices, and version control (Github).
ü Technical Skills:
ü Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
ü Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data modeling concepts.
ü Deep Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
ü Soft Skills:
ü Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts.
ü Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
ü Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Do you have…
ü Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
ü Experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
ü5 years of experience in database administration development, software development, or related fields
Preferred qualifications
ü Experience with computer vision, natural language processing, or reinforcement learning.
ü Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
ü Experience with cloud native applications, microservices architecture, and APIs.
ü Certifications in BI, cloud computing, or related fields.
ü Experience in Airia.ai platform
ü Certifications in database management, BI tools, or data analysis.
