Role & ResponsibilitiesThis role will support our team and drive our growth efforts and help us optimize our business development activities by leading the following actions: Set and manage the growth strategy: to hit our growth goals we need a strategy that gets us in front of aircraft owners and their advisers. You will help us identify market segments with compelling opportunities and attractive financial returns. You’ll use market and company data as well as an understanding of our company culture and business practices to craft a strategy that results in accelerated customer growth and improved financial performance. Drive lead generation: Using market insights, you’ll spearhead our efforts to increase the volume of high-quality leads for our business development team. You’ll expand our sources of prospects, optimize our referral network (owners, employee, aviation influencers, family offices, etc.) and deepen our influencer relationships as part of these efforts. Define and refine the process: You’ll define the processes, roles and responsibilities, and policies that direct our team toward the right opportunities and help them advance prospects efficiently. Using data and market insights you will help ensure the company is delivering exceptional value to aircraft owners while optimizing Solairus’ financial performance. Create support and leverage: Initially, you will act as an individual contributor. Over time, you will build a team that supports you and our business development executives. Your team will enhance our market intelligence and allow our senior leaders to focus more time on our existing and prospective customers. Hone reporting and insights: You will bolster our market data, analytics, forecasting and reporting capabilities to make sure we are working efficiently and optimally growing our business. You’ll develop right-sized approaches to monitoring and reporting on performance, set targets, analyze trends, and generate strategic insights for the team to act on. Design systems that scale: We use Salesforce today but not to its potential. You’ll ensure our Salesforce implementation – and Salesforce users – capture critical customer and market information in ways that support our growth strategy and enable successful adaptation.
Minimum requirements5+ years of work experience in strategic and operational roles such as management consulting and sales operations. Experience managing teams, influencing peers, driving performance improvements and achieving desired outcomes. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and passion for solving ambiguous or complex business issues. Able to analyze and derive insights from data and set strategy. Familiarity with common CRM tools and the ability to drive their implementation for business results. A self-starting mentality, high IQ/EQ, tenacity balanced with kindness, and comfort in a founder-led company environment. Ability to learn a new industry quickly if needed; humble enough to say when you don’t know, and determined to learn what you need to. Exceptional written, presentation and communication skills. Estimated compensation: · Base: $150,000-$180,000 · Bonus Target: $40,000-$60,000 · Total target cash: $190,000-$240,000 | ||||
