A MEMS company on the East Coast is looking for an Equipment Engineer to help maintain their existing equipment set as well as support the installation of new equipment in their fab.  

Responsibilities

• This individual will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor/MEMS process and metrology equipment.
• Repair semiconductor process equipment in cleanroom environment.
• Setup and installation of equipment.
• Initial testing and diagnostic checks of equipment.
• Performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment.
• Perform equipment set-up changes, modifications, and upgrades

Required Skills

• 5+ years of semiconductor or MEMS equipment experience.
• Ability and willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience creating and following preventative maintenance schedules and maintaining log books.
• Strong work ethic, self motivated.
• Meticulous and quality focused.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
• Permanent legal resident status is required.
