Managed Wi-Fi Engineer (Break-Fix)

Permanent Locations: Cerritos (LA), Austin, Tampa, Charlotte and New York

Remotely supporting customers to resolve wi-fi issues.

KCI is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to become an integral part of our Managed Sevices Restoration team.

-In this role, the Network Engineer will interface with customers and project managers to resolve customers' network-related issues.
-Maintain product and service quality by assisting in the development and documentation of technical standards.
-Ensure a successful project completion by documenting and implementing approved procedure methods.
-Optimize and configure the existing network by planning and working on projects, systems and issues of medium to high complexity.
-Troubleshooting Cisco Meraki equipment including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, etc.  


Essential Function
· Enterprise Telecom experience
· Analyze customer data network design requirements
· Conduct engineering knowledge transfer with customer engineering teams
· Follows customer engineering process guidelines for network engineering, document storage, and communications
· Basic knowledge of the following devices: Cisco and Juniper equipment
· Knowledge of how a network works
· Moderate knowledge of network routing
· Knowledge of Salesforce or like order systems
· Communicate clearly and precisely with field personnel, customers, and project managers
· CCNA preferred or equivalent experience
· On the job training will be provided to fill in the blanks
