Lead Teacher -Young Hearts Preschool

 

Location: Buckeye, AZ

Young Hearts Preschool is looking for a dynamic Lead Teacher who wants to build a strong educational foundation and success in our student’s educational journey.  Our teachers lead by example, they must have the ability to model and instill in our Young Heart students the 9 virtues: Citizenship, Courage, Friendship, Honesty, Humility, Integrity, Perseverance, Responsibility, and Wisdom.

 

Young Hearts is a Classical Education Preschool:

 

  • Our goal is to create a strong foundation as we inspire to instill the love of learning in our preschool students.
  • We provide a caring, learning environment in which they will flourish.
  • We will teach in a manner which fosters self-confidence, the joy of childhood, critical thinking skills and elementary school readiness.

 

Our teachers are responsible for:

 

·        The overall classroom management, leading to a safe and engaging learning environment.

·        Leading by example.

·        Nurturing social and emotional skills

·        Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

·        Inspiring the love of learning with intentional teaching.

·        Utilizing the Creative Curriculum and the GOLD Assessment tool to execute lessons and assessments.

·        Enhancing the curriculum using classical books, music and poetry.

·        Achieving and maintaining Quality First and NAEYC accreditation.

·        Attending monthly meetings.

·        Holding parent/teacher conferences twice a year.

·        Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with students, co-teachers, parents, and the academy.

·        Additional duties and projects as assigned.
