POSITION: Auxiliary Services Manager   


REPORTS TO:  Director of Auxiliary Services

(Full-time, benefits-eligible, start July 1st)

SALARY RANGE: 50,000.00 – 60,000.00

Auxiliary Services Manager - Job Description

Child Nutrition Program (CNP) Manager

  • Assist the Auxiliary Services Director in overseeing various aspects of the district's Child Nutrition Program (CNP) compliance and accountability.
  • Develop nutrition and wellness policies in conjunction with district administration with feedback from students and community members.
  • Serves as the internal subject matter expert with our software Mealtime
  • Campus Support for Mealtime system questions and errors
  • Campus Support for Online FRL Application
  • Process FRL applications
  • POS Training and Management
  • Direct Certification matches
  • Daily Mealtime mass upload for mealtime
  • All TXUNPS requirements and deadlines
  • Attend all applicable Region 20 trainings
  • Partner with the Director of Auxiliary Servies for all compliance needs. Knowledgeable about all compliance related tasks and information
  • Partner with Director of Auxiliary Services in ideas to raise participation
  • Proactive keeping resources on SharePoint updated and creating new resources for SharePoint

District Enrollment Manager

  • Assist the Director of Auxiliary Services in the implementation of the SchoolMint system
  • Campus support in Canopy and SchoolMint – Registrars
  • Data clean up in enrollment systems Canopy and SchoolMint
  • Home office enrollment voicemail
  • Management of the Enrollment@greatheartsTX.org and gh.enrollment@greatheartsTX.org email addresses
  • Enrollment systems managed carefully so that campuses are set up well to successfully meet their 11th day target
  • Proactive keeping resources on SharePoint updated and creating new resources for campuses

Other Duties

  • Great Hearts is rapidly growing and so is the Great Hearts Operations team. With this growth, other duties will be assigned to the Auxiliary Services Manager as needs arise and the role evolves.

Key Performance Indicators

  1. 100% of monthly submissions to TXUNPS and TDA on time
  2. FRL applications are processed within 7 days
  3. Daily attention to system data accuracy and monthly attention to participation is given to mealtime
  4. Enrollment systems managed carefully so that campuses are set up well to successfully meet their 11th day target
  5. All Enrollment and Mealtime inquires from parents are returned within 48 hours
  6. Campus operators receive robust and timely system support concerning enrollment and mealtime systems

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred
  • Experience: Previous administrative experience required, experience in school administrative or working with student systems is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Career Center

Type of fingerprint clearance: Must be able to pass the Texas DPS fingerprint clearance.

Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.

Travel required: May need to travel to the various academies within the San Antonio, Dallas, Fort. Worth and Irving area.
