JOB TITLE: General Laborer: Container Washer/Painter

SUMMARY:  Responsible for Washing/Painting Containers for maintenance on a daily basis. Use of a forklift (training provided), general warehouse duties and container washing will be part of the job responsibilities.Other laborer and odd job tasks will be part of daily duties.

Eligible for a $500 bonus at 6 and 12 months of hire.

  • Container painting, stenciling and stickering
  • Pressure washing and deodorizing recycling containers daily
  • Repair of broken containers
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean warehouse and daily sweeps
  • Pressure washing and deodorizing recycling containers daily
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean yard and daily sweeps of yard to remove debris
  • Truck washing on regular schedule
  • Identifying contamination and removing from recycle loads
  • Monthly Truck Fire Extinguishers and First Aid Inspections
  • Other tasks assigned as needed


  • Ability to work with public in professional manner
  • Dependable, self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be hard working and a diligent task master
  • Ability to operate a pressure washer and fork lift
  • Strong attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Must show up to work on time ready to work


To successfully perform the essential tasks of this position, an individual must be able to sit, stand, walk and climb ladders up to 8 hours per day.
