OBJECTIVE:
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on video gaming machines.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a non smoke casino environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Always be NICE to fellow staff and players/ find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
  2. Installs, tests and calibrates validators, boards, and monitors according to legal and Casino standards and regulations.
  3. Performs programming of gaming machine’s memory.
  4. Trouble-shoots and repairs malfunctioning machines.
  5. Performs preventive maintenance on machines.
  6. Ensures gaming machines operate according to legal and Casino standards and regulations.
  7. Provides information to Guests by answering questions about slot machines and the casino in a helpful and friendly manner. Refers Guests when necessary to appropriate personnel.
  8. Adheres to all casino and departmental policies and procedures.
  9. Adheres to all applicable federal control standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of electronics and AC-DC theory
Ability to read schematics
Public relations and oral communication skills
Ability to trouble-shoot with meters and test equipment
Knowledge of computers a plus
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
College degree in electronics preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous technical experience
