We are seeking a System Administrator 1 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

What you’ll do:
In this role you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, testing, and monitoring Badging Systems, Visitor Management Systems, Physical Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, Intercom Systems, and other Integrated Electronic Systems. Candidates must be flexibility in schedule, neat in appearance, able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Punctuality, attendance, a willingness to learn, and an ability to work well with others are key to success in this role.
- Administer and manage daily badging, badging operations, and credential issuance.
- Administer and manage daily visitor badging, visitor management system operations, and visitor credential issuance.
- Manage physical security system support to meet operational requirements.
- Analyze physical security system performance and recommend improvements.
- Resolve complex system issues for physical security systems and networks.
- Provide direct technical support and escalation.
- Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors, engineer and project leadership.
- Train system users and other system support personnel.
- Analyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changes.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform preventive maintenance actions including back-ups, error log reviews, and integrity checks.
- Organize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance, including service request records and analysis.
- Perform installation and management of device firmware, equipment and system software, computer applications, and system and device drivers.
- Perform all duties with minimal direct supervision.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Computer Science, Engineering Degree or a Related Technical Discipline
- 0+ Years of Experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity
- 4+ Years of Experience with an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity
- 6+ Years of Experience with a High School Diploma
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Required Progressive Experience:
- Requires system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system. problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.
- Requires an understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Requires a basic knowledge of Windows active directory hierarchy and implementation.
- Requires a basic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANS and routing.
- Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer.
- Requires the ability to work flexible shifts that may include occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Have reliable transportation for purposes of getting to and from work.
- This position requires some travel.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
- Certified System Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP) Certification desired.
- Certification\Experience in CCure 9000 Access Control Systems desired.
- Certification\Experience in MyID and TrustVisitor Systems desired.
- Certification\Experience in Geutebrück Video Systems desired.
- Microsoft SQL Server Query writing and management experience desired.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Microsoft Server desired.
- Installation and configuration of operating system software (i.e. Win10/ Win Server 2016) experience desired.
- Experience programming/administrating Access Control Systems of any type desired.
- Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security electronics equipment desired.
- Security + Certification Recommended.
