The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) has a need for multiple individuals to provide Subject Matter Expert support for engineering analysis, modeling, testing, and software development services in support of the DTRA Target Assessment Technologies Division in Reston, VA. please note that the FOCs is looking for many people from diverse backgrounds relevant to this work and does not require an applicant to have experience in all disciplines listed below.

These services will support DTRA Research and Development (R&D) activities as well as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities that examine Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) facilities/processes and Underground Facilities (UGFs) of interest. 

SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Develop technologies designed to defeat or disrupt WMD, UGFs, and associated processes. 
  • Develop models and assessments of WMD and underground systems and auxiliary support and supply systems.   
  • Develop software tools to more effectively identify, examine, assess, model, defeat WMD and UGFs and processes. 
  • Identify WMD and UGF vulnerabilities, tactics, defeat vectors, and systems or methods/procedures needed to cause disruption or defeat.  
  • Test and validate defeat concepts for WMD and UGFs.
  • Transition mature technologies, tools, and methodologies to identified customers.
  • Integrating all source intelligence information to develop WMD and UGF characterizations to meet customer requirements. 
  • Utilizing analytical tools to analyze and assess WMD and UGF processes and operations.   
  • Using all-source intelligence, models, analysis reports, and sound engineering and science principles in identifying vulnerabilities and defeat opportunities for WMD and UGFs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • For science and Engineering disciplines: MS preferred, followed by BS, then PhD
  • for IT and software disciplines: Bachelors degree

CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and Poly
