The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Contract Program Manager to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a complex contract with varying scope areas and personnel with a broad level of subject matter expertise such as: Administration, Human Capital and Development, Strategic Planning and Strategic Communication, Graphic Design and Multimedia Support, Operations, Financial and Budgetary Support, Acquisition Planning, Safety and Risk Management, Chemical Surety, Environmental Planning, Hazardous Work Protection, Radiation Safety, Emergency Management, Travel Support, Security, Program Analysis, Engineering, and Technology Transfer.
  • Provide oversight and management for staff and contract services and actions.
  • Work through and resolve issues, receive technical instructions, and ensure adequate performance of services.
  • Ensure employees perform services within the scope of work and in accordance with required quality specifications.
  • Oversee and develop documents and deliverables specified in Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Responsible for project tracking, providing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have 10 years of experience in a combination of research, development, test, or evaluation organizations.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in program management in a technical environment.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience Managing 30+ personnel.
  • Experience Managing varying scope areas and personnel with a broad level of subject matter expertise
  • Technical experience in a military laboratory or a laboratory environment
  • Prior Army or Military Research Contract experience preferred.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret clearance or must be able to obtain.
