Position Summary
Great Hearts Online is seeking a full-time Enrollment Advisor to contribute to the growth of Great Hearts Online academies. The day-to-day work will mainly consist of calling and hosting support zoom sessions for recently enrolled students with aim to support their onboarding process. This role will be responsible for ensuring new scholars are logged in and attending class on their first day of school and posting their first assignment.
Throughout the onboarding process, the enrollment advisor will learn about the needs and concerns of scholars and their families and demonstrate how Great Hearts Online is an excellent and best in class classical education. This position will strive to re-enforce the family's decision to school with Great Hearts.
Monday and Tuesday the enrollment advisor will host live support sessions from 7:30 am to Noon CST and monitor in-bound phone lines. This role requires the ability to quickly take calls and meet in zoom for support. Afternoons are dedicated to returning any missed calls and tracking progress.
Wednesday and Thursdays 8am to 5pm are reserved for individual meetings to provide 1:1 support to families who need it most.
Friday this role will host Webinars that share strategies, tips, and tricks for schooling successfully online. Throughout the school year, this role will track scholars who persist and share findings for scholars who do not stay enrolled in Great Hearts Online.
Finally, Once and Enrollment Advisor finishes enrolling a scholar they will continue to provide onboarding and customer service support, while a scholar makes the transition to schooling in the virtual environment. Duties and Responsibilities
Enthusiastically and confidently call, text and email enrolled families to help scholars persist in Great Hearts Online
Track conversations diligently in the CRM and enrollment systems, and provide timely and appropriate follow-up
Effectively follow call and messaging guidelines for all families to meet daily and weekly metrics
Practice radical hospitality, knowing who to get the right answers from to keep families happy and moving forward
Support families through the onboarding process, collect needed documents, and verify eligibility
Coordinate with campuses and internal departments to ensure students have all the needed technology and systems to initiate their coursework.
Collaborate and communicate with the team on patterns, trends, support needed, and more
Conduct “walk to class” with each student, teach them how to navigate needed systems and support them as they initiate online learning.
Report out daily, weekly, and monthly retention rates
Qualifications, Competencies, and Strengths
High school diploma
Minimum 1 year of sales or customer service experience; knowledge and experience in charter schools is preferred
Demonstrated success in relationship building and taking people from interest to all-in on a product, service, or idea
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fantastic relationship and trust builder
Highly goal-oriented
An influencer personality with an understanding of how to direct the conversation
Fluency with technology: Microsoft Outlook Suite, Google Suite, HubSpot, SchoolMint, Canopy/School Axis
Fluency with Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and other LMSs preferred
Ability to work autonomously and to demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to respond appropriately to feedback, mentoring and coaching
Interested and skilled in a fast-paced, remote work environment that is filled with change
Incredible interpersonal communication skills, empathy, honesty, and teamwork
Type of clearance:
Must possess or obtain a valid Level One IVP Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card and pass TX background fingerprint clearance.
Physical functions:
Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
