JOB SPECIFICATION

POSITION: Great Hearts Home Office Intern                      

DEPARTMENT: Department Varies                  

LOCATION: Phoenix Home Office 

REPORTS TO: Department Manager   

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Part-time/Temporary 

Current Openings

Professional Development Internship

  • June and July
  • 20-30 hours per week, primarily in-office
  • $15-17 per hour
  • Interns will support event management for New Faculty Orientation and Training

Great Hearts Institute and CMO Internship

  • Unpaid internship
  • May 2025 start
  • Support numerous project for the Great Hearts Institute 
  • Assigned additional tasks by the CMO VP of Strategy and Analytics

Position Summary

The Great Hearts Intern is a part-time and temporary role that contributes to supporting various Home Office departments during some of our busiest and exciting times of the year. The Intern will assist departments with major projects and/or events. While the Intern role is part-time/temporary, hours may extend during certain weeks depending on activities being coordinated at the Home Office. Occasional evening hours may be required. The Intern role should involve one who is eager to learn, adapts quickly, communicates well with others and is detail oriented.

Duties & Responsibilities

Many of the duties will require one who is knowledgeable in the following:

  • Administrative support tasks
  • Planning and executing
  • Researching, tracking, and updating,
  • Performing routine data entry
  • Collaborating with others to accomplish specific tasks
  • Contributing to seasonal projects and meeting tight deadlines

Additional tasks will be identified by department manager.

Additional Requirements

Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Level fingerprint clearance card.

Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 25 pounds approximately.

Travel required: May need to travel locally to the various academies within the Phoenix metro area.
