Summary
Monitor the electronic dockets of client proceedings on a firm-wide scale. Maintain the central calendar which provides reminders of important due dates for various filings, notice of appearances, etc.  Update and maintain the case management system.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  •  Monitor the firm’s electronic litigation dockets and maintaining its internal records database of all corresponding court documents received by the Managing Attorney’s office

  •  Review and analyze court documents for all current, pending and possible future dates to be added and to each matter-specific calendar, as well as the Managing Attorney’s master calendar, while providing team-wide reminders for upcoming due dates of briefs, requested appearances, etc.

  •  Collaborate, manage and oversee quality controls and work product of other staff members assigned to create greater efficiencies, reduce redundancies, and maintain consistencies throughout

  •  Conceive and implement policies and procedures relating to all aspects of S&C’s litigation dockets

  •  Correspond with the firm’s various support departments in order to create training programs and materials to be used when instructing additional members of S&C’s litigation group, including but not limited to, associates, analysts and paralegals 

In addition, responsibilities related to maintaining firm and client information are to be adhered to by all employees. This includes complying with the firm’s information security policies, protecting firm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference, and reporting security events or potential events or other security risks to management.

Education and/or experience
Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation
The base salary range offered for this role will be between $75,000 and $80,000.  When determining a candidate’s compensation offer, elements unique to each person are taken into consideration including but not limited to skill set, experience level, performance, professional certifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the Firm.
