Software Developer Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced and energetic problem solver with attention to detail, interest in process improvement, and great communication skills. You should be a self-starter, quick-learner, and motivated SW engineer who can work in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work closely with an integrated functional team. Your responsibilities will include design, development, integration, testing, and installation. 

 

Software Developer Required Tasks:

·    Recent experience with software design, development, and test

·    Recent experience working in a Linux environment

·    Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming

·    C++11 or later

 

Software Developer Desirable Skills:

·    JavaFX

·    Eclipse

·    Python 2 or 3

·    Bash scripting

·    Network programming

·    RHEL 7 or later

·    Git

·    Automated testing

·    Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment

·    Experience working in a large team

·    Experience working on a large codebase

·    Secure coding practices

·    Static code analysis

·    Interest in domestic and international travel

 

 Software Developer Additional Requirements:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming/Engineering or
related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered

· Effective oral and written communication skills.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
