Core Responsibilities
• Defines and manages product roadmap
• Builds, grooms and prioritizes the product backlog, continuously managing expectations with relevant stakeholders – including the senior leadership team
• Manages the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior sprints, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
• Develops a deep contextual understanding of our customer, worker and user needs
• Understands business processes and procedures
• Gathers market feedback through user interactions, focus groups, and by performing industry research to support future development
• Writes detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams of developers, designers and analysts to implement and deliver new products and features
• Partners with Tech Lead and Solution Architect to confirm the overall architecture and technical solution aligns with business objectives and required features
• Collaborates with the organization on vision, strategy, decisioning, tactical execution, and measurement systems
• Represents the product to business stakeholders and maintains effective stakeholder relationships
• Communicate roadmap stages and timelines internally with key stakeholders
• Collaborates with Sponsors on approvals of deliverables
• Participates in staffing activities with the Delivery Manager to identify resource gaps, interviewing, and maintain resource allocation documents.

• Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate
• Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships
• Understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases
• Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs
• Experience of working in utility industry
• Understanding of Load Forecasting
• Experience as a Product Owner
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with relevant new product or technology development experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with teams developing and shipping software
