Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNMH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS provider card required
- Certified in field of specialty preferred
- ICU - Current ACLS certification required
- Certified in field of specialty (CCRN, Trauma) preferred
- DOU – Current ACLS certification required
- Certified in field of specialty (CCRN, PCCN, Trauma) preferred
- MS1 – Telemetry course, Stroke Course required
- MS2 – Telemetry course required
- MS3 – Telemetry course, Chemo Provider/Chemo Certification preferred
- MS4 & 5 – Experience required
- MAB provider card preferred
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year acute hospital experience required
- Minimum one (1) year of critical care (Step Down, DOU, ICU) acute hospital experience required
- Additional experience in areas commensurate with primary work assignment.
