What You’ll Do:

Webcor’s Warranty department was formed over 20 years ago to address warranty issues and provide outstanding service to our partners. We are  looking for a talented individual to join the organization. This position has a home base in our Alameda office, with travel to project sites around the Bay Area. Some remote work is possible.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage warranty issues and claims with building owners and building operational groups during Webcor’s warranty period.
  • Assist in resolving issues that may include punch list items, construction defects, incomplete work and warranty requests.
  • Address warranty requests using an online database.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture) preferred, or equivalent field experience.
  • Possess a strong understanding of construction processes and quality control.
  • Prior construction field experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide clear, concise and professional communications with owners, vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Computer savvy. Able to learn new systems and programs.
  • Self-motivated problem solver.
  • Strong desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
