Change Management Consultant 

The Change Management Consultant will play a key role in ensuring Omnicell customer engagement projects (change initiatives) meet objectives by increasing customer knowledge, adoption, acceptance and usage.  They will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures, as our customers implement new solution technologies within their organization. 


  • Collaborate and work across organization (growth, customer success, engineering and product).
  • Work with Omnicell customer senior leaders and executives to help them understand their role as change sponsor. 
  • Use change management process and tools to create a customer strategy to support the adoption of changes when implementing new Omnicell technology solutions.
  • Driving and leading the design, development, delivery and management of Omnicell customer communications.
  • Assess key stakeholders across the client organization for impact analysis and change readiness.
  • Complete change management assessments for Omnicell professional service engagements.
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Identify and manage potential resistance.
  • Consult and coach professional service project teams and other project members.
  • Create actionable client and Omnicell deliverables for the five change management levers:  communication plans; sponsor roadmap; coaching plan; training plan; resistance management plan.
  • Support and coach senior leaders, managers and supervisors.
  • Integrate and monitor change management activities into project plan.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a Professional Services Organization.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a Change Management role.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Engineering or Technology disciplines.
  • Change management certification (example Prosci, CCMP, CPCM).
  • Prior work experience in consulting, project or program management.
  • Healthcare industry experience.

Work Conditions

  • Role will require travel (70%).
  • Work across multiple time zones.
  • Home/remote based role.
  • Extended hours in front of a computer using video technology.
