Lead Financial Analyst –Manufacturing

(This is a Hybrid Remote/Office Based position)

The Lead Financial Analyst for Omnicell Manufacturing will be reporting to the Sr. Manager Finance – Manufacturing Finance and will be a key contributor in supporting planning, forecasting, consolidation and analysis of the manufacturing operations. The position will support multiple key stakeholders and leaders, providing critical support for key manufacturing, sourcing and cost management activities. The position will have very close interface with Business Finance teams also be involved in supporting significant internal process re-engineering and system enhancement projects.  


  • Support Sr. Finance Manager manufacturing finance.
  • Prepare Excess & Obsolete inventory analysis, Overhead absorption analysis, cost transfers, Bill of Material reviews for Milpitas & MWO sites.
  • Coordinate the Monthly forecast cycles and annual planning process.
  • Support functional groups in managing manufacturing expenses, detailed spending analysis & production planning processes.
  • Support in tracking, managing and reporting inventory & turns by site, product and type
  • Assist in updating cost accounts with key changes
  • Support with SOX analysis for inventory, Overheads and costs
  • Assist in the maintenance, upgrades and enhancement of company reporting tools, especially SAP.
  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis / special projects.
  • Support in Audit process and maintain/update all inventory related audit schedules.
  • Build financial models to support the financial planning of the business.
  • Create and maintain Standard cost reports, update standards and Bill of Material prices for cost management
  • Manufacturing Reporting – publish metrics, reports, review data input for accuracy and work with IT & Accounting to resolve any data issues.                                                                                          

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Flexible and adapt to changes quickly
  • Strong proficiency in SAP with manufacturing modules. Implementation experience preferred
  • Must be an organized thinker with a strong process background and excellent analytical skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff 
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team 
  • Possess extreme attention to detail and produce accurate work
  • Have strong work ethic, patience and customer service orientation

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ accounting/ finance experience
  • SAP experience is essential
  • Expertise in FP&A

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/ BA or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Cost Accounting Experience
  • 7+ accounting/ finance experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the manufacturing business unit in a finance or accounting function
