NaphCare is hiring an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) just like you to join our team at the Santa Cruz County Jail facility located in Santa Cruz, CA.  Full Time, Part Time, and PRN shifts are available!    Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership.

Pay rates range from $20.00 - $24.00 per hour based on Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, and experience.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up to date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing. 

Position Description:

• STATE or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants. 
• Provide routine clinical tasks
• Perform routine blood drawing procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes
