LCG is seeking a Human Resources Senior Manager to manage and oversee the HR Division.  The Senior Manager will be hands-on with the day to day administrative needs of the department.  This individual must have in-depth knowledge working with brokerage firms in developing Healthcare Plan, 401(k) Plan, Basic and Voluntary Life, AD&D, STD and LTD, and Flexible Spending Accounts (Section 125).  The ideal candidate will support the corporate culture of “Pay-for-Performance” using a performance management system and develop and more HR centric company culture.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the HR Division and Sr. Generalists
  • Recommend, develop, implement and communicate HR policies and objectives including policy changes and initiatives in all functional work areas to meet the current and changing Company plans and goals. Use electronic benefits bulletin board and other vehicles to communicate information
  • Formulate, recommend and oversee HR policies and objectives to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
  • Maintains knowledge of benefit trends, benchmarks, and employment legislation and ensures company’s compliance
  • Maintains responsibility for company compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
  • Administrators the Workers Compensation, Healthcare Plan, as well as Life, STD and LTD Plan Administrators 401(k), Plan to ensure compliance.
  • Act as Point-of-Contact to benefit providers for plan design, reporting, audits, resolution of benefit related problems and open enrollment
  • Develop, review, edit job descriptions to ensure the right employees are in the right roles and are equipped with the KSA’s to perform successfully
  • Prepare government reports related to EEO, OFCCP, and AAP compliance and other HR related functions
  • Maintain integrity of data in HR database system and personnel records
  • Maintain legal compliance for federal and state regulations and reporting
  • Coordinate community outreach activities and events planning

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years human resources generalist experience with a federal government contractor(s)
  • Minimum of 4 years HR management experience
  • Experience with the following systems: Deltek Cost Point 7.0 HRM, Time & Expense, ESS, and Kenexa
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, payroll, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology or related field
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SPHR
