The Lundquist Institute is looking for a Part-time Administrative Assistant join our team in our Torrance, CA location

 

Hourly Rate $21.00-26.30

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         GED or High school diploma

·         Bachelor’s Health Major preferable

·         Applicant should have experience with coordination of community projects and outreach programs

·         Applicant should have experience working with urban-underserved, disadvantage teenagers

·         Ability to organize administrative tasks.  

·         Ability to communicate effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Strong organizational and time management skills.

·         Dependability as well as flexibility to meet the changing needs of a dynamic program.     

·         Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.

·         Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.

·         Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner.

·         Demonstrated cooperative behavior and experience with positive-problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

·         Available to work dependable, flexible shift including weekends

 

 

Description of Duties

·         Responsibilities include overall program coordination for several of the AHEC youth programs which include YOLO and SUHF.  Will also be assisting in Gardena High School based clinic operations. Will be responsible for tracking and data collection on all AHEC participants. Besides general coordination, word processing and other standard office duties, below are some more specifics for each program.
