Description of Duties
Molecular genetics of constructing specific mutants in MRSA for use in key experiments;
Antimicrobial susceptibilities
Analyze staphylococcal membranes for their interaction with bicarbonate
Infecting animals with staphylococcal gene constructs
Inducing catheter mediated vascular infections
Grant writing to obtain independent funding
Candidate will be expected to develop research to write grants and obtain research funding in order to achieve independence toward becoming a Faculty member in an academic university or college
