Job Description: 

 

We are seeking a Cydecor a Mid-Level Contract Analyst -EVM in the DC area to support our PMS 317 contract. Cydecor is driven to be the most exciting and rewarding professional services company by providing mission-critical program support and solutions that exceed customer expectations.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Apply professional experience in analysis support, particularly related to Earned Value Management (EVM), to assess and evaluate project performance, cost, and schedule adherence within shipbuilding contracts.
  • Navigate and interpret key documents and reports including Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) to gather relevant data and insights for analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in applying Earned Value Management principles and methodologies to shipbuilder contracts, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the assessment of project performance and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Leverage 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) to conduct comprehensive analysis, identify variances, trends, and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making by program management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights, ensuring alignment of analysis efforts with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and briefings summarizing analysis findings and recommendations, effectively communicating complex technical information to diverse stakeholders including executives, program managers, and team members.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and records of analysis processes, methodologies, and results, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously refine and improve analysis processes and methodologies, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in Earned Value Management and shipbuilding to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of analysis efforts.

 

Here's what you need:

  • Extensive professional experience in providing analysis support specifically related to Earned Value Management in shipbuilder contracts, demonstrating proficiency in interpreting and analyzing complex data sets to support program management decisions.
  • Familiarity and understanding of key documents and concepts such as Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), enabling effective analysis and reporting within the defense acquisition framework.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), including demonstrated expertise in implementing EVM principles, methodologies, and practices in a shipbuilding context.
  • Ability to assess and interpret EVM data, identify trends, variances, and risks, and provide actionable insights to support program management decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting, ensuring reliability and credibility of EVM-related findings and recommendations. 
  • Knowledge of and experience working with the Navy and Naval processes

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Education: (education with experience equivalency)

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Economics, Mathematics, etc.)
