Cydecor, via a NAVSEA Professional Services / Engineering Services Contract, provides direct support to PEO (USC) PMS340 USW Command located at the Washington Navy Yard.  To meet future demand for quality acquisition management staff needs, Cydecor has been requested to initiate action to locate and train a few individuals to support the legacy government Business Financial and Acquisition Program Management Staff.  This initiative is intended to augment the current Cydecor and government recruiting process to assist the client in overcoming near term staffing shortages associated with attrition of current personnel and growth is Program Oversight Management Mission responsibilities.  The position labor category is Program Management / Financial Analyst level II.  Applicants are expected to have an undergraduate degree, a reasonable degree of proficiency using Microsoft Software including WORD, EXCEL and POWER POINT.  Preferred degree areas are business, information technology, economics.  The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to acquire a Secret clearance.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate work experience wherein communication, electronic competencies, writing and analytical competencies have been applied to achieve desired positive results. The applicant must be receptive to receiving dedicated training associated with developing the skill sets and the proficiency to use each skill set to team with government and contract support staff to pursue solution development for a variety of issues confronting the “front line” managers within the PMS340 community.

 

Examples of near-term Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in developing Team structure and resource scheduling ensuring appropriate skill sets are developed to contribute to balance across various teams.
  • Assist in Project coordination support for functions such as onboarding new team members with badging, tracking training dates, CAC application and processing, maintaining files and numerical data basis.  Assisting in performing analyses and presenting findings and solutions formatted in electronic formats designed and populated using WORD, EXCEL and/or Power Point.
  • Coordinate with Government customer to identify and define project requirements. Liaison between the government customer and the development team.
  • Assist in monitoring, planning and managing project schedules and make adjustments as requirements and deadlines change.
  • Work with the team leads in distributing work and tracking progress from inception to completion of relatively complex tasks.
  • Attending various weekly and daily coordination meetings with the customer and the development team.
  • Prepare and process draft project meeting minutes and deliverables.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

 

· Clearance: DoD Secret (ability to obtain and maintain)

· Citizenship: US

· College plus work experience (5+ years)

· Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in fields presented in preamble)

· Several years of experience as a project manager.

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

 

· Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle

· Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.

· Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.

· College level written and verbal communication skills.

· General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office WORD, Excel, and Power Point

· Willingness to travel

Travel: 0-10 percent
