Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse can independently plan and implement routine nursing care in predictable situations using standards and knowledge obtained during education and preceptorship.
A Registered Nurse II's begin to assume leadership responsibility and need minimal supervision. An RN II has the ability to use accurate, clear, and concise oral and written communication. RN II’s will work as a team and maintain effective working relationships, use critical thinking skills, analyze, and communicate findings effectively. Incumbents require a basic computer literacy and the ability to effectively learn new software programs is required, as well as the ability to efficiently operate a variety of automated office equipment such as print/copy/scan/fax machines/calculators/etc.
A Registered Nurse (RN) III is an advanced level who is assigned at least one float area and renders individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet the patients physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural, and educational needs. RN III provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to each patient based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
The RN functions under the oversight and direction of the Nursing Supervisor. Independently plans and implements routine nursing care in assigned department. Needs minimal supervision. Rapid Response Team and Code Team responder. Float pool Staff may cover ED, CCU, Med/Surg, MHU, and OB.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
