Our office in Longmont, CO has an immediate opening for an Electro Optics, Scientist/Engineer reporting to the Senior Principal Scientist, Optical Engineering. This is a non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

The successful candidate:
Will participate in business development activities, customer interaction and program management. Responsibilities will include participation in and supervision of all aspects of sensor and system development ranging from conceptualization to demonstration up through production support. The candidate will be a part of a team whose responsibilities include designing, building, and testing electro-optical sensors for a variety of applications. Both passive and active sensors are of interest. The position will entail participation in and oversight of design and specification of components and subsystems, design implementation as well as laboratory and field tests of the instrumentation. In addition, analysis of sensor performance, function, and data will be an important part of the job.
Primary responsibilities include:
Education: Ph.D., or MS with equivalent experience; EE, Physics, Optical Sciences, Applied Mathematics. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects
The candidate must be a US citizen able to obtain a security clearance.
Salary Range: $112,000 - $120,000.
