Analyst - Risk & Information Management

 

Work Timings  : 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Hybrid Work: 3 days' Work from office

 

Role Purpose  :

 

Work towards development and deployment of risk related models, systems and processes.

 

Key Requirements  :

 

  • Professional with analytics experience preferably in Credit Card Domain.
  • Must have experience in analytical tools like SAS or SQL, and experience in R, Python, and Machine Learning would be an advantage.
  • Hands on experience in statistical techniques like logistic regression, clustering, segmentation etc. Experience in Web Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience in MIS reports and ad-hoc analysis
  • Self-driven, ability to work independently, and strong problem solving skills.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Should have excellent communication skills to interact with senior Bank personnel.

 

Key Responsibilities  :

  • Use risk management tools and models to drive analytics for consumer lending products.
  • Identify portfolio optimization opportunities and provide recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Support departmental head in all initiatives, and train and supervise junior team members to drive analytical output.
  • Track actual portfolio performance and credit risk management strategy results.
  • Work on development and deployment of risk management systems and processes.
  • Undertake preparation of risk related systems and policies.

 

 

 

Associated Tasks                                 

 

1.

Acquire and possess good knowledge of 1FBSSPL customer database at all times.

  • Provide data and analytical support to 1FB’s senior management team.
  • Provide financial analysis and data support to other groups/departments including Finance, Marketing, Funding, Collections, and Corporate Development as needed.
  • Undertake research and recommend improvements to statistical model development and monitoring methodologies.
  • Perform database analysis, develop and deploy financial models, financial management tools, and analytical tools including SQL, SAS, and Excel, and present results and recommendations to management.
  • Monitor trends and issues.
  • Work as a team to build and install new credit and risk tools for new and existing clients, credit line limit management, attrition, and collections.

 

 

2.

Track actual portfolio performance and credit risk management strategy results.

 

 

·         Identify deviations from forecast/expectations and explain variances. Identify risk and/ or  opportunities.

·         Produce and analyze monthly portfolio reports.

·         Perform portfolio management campaign tracking and analysis.

 

 

3.

Work on development and deployment of risk management systems and processes.

  • Perform database analysis, develop and deploy financial models, financial       management tools, and analytical tools. Monitor trends and issues.
  • Research and recommend improvements to statistical model development and       monitoring methodologies.
  • Build and install new credit and risk tools for new and existing clients, credit line limit management, attrition, and collections.
  • Coordinate with US office on an ongoing basis to seek and extend project related information.
  • Continuously refresh information, processes and tools.

 

4.

Undertake preparation of risk related systems and policies

 

·         Prepare exhibits and supporting materials and develop recommendations for credit policy, and provides loss forecasts, demographic and credit limit utilization analysis.

·         Track actual Risk Management strategy results. Identify deviations from forecast/ expectations and explain variances. Identify risk and/or opportunities.
