Essential Job Functions:
· Collaborate with the Director of Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement to implement CI strategies.
· Assist in selecting, prioritizing, and coordinating cross-functional improvement initiatives.
· Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project success.
· Support the improvement of Business Management System CI related content.
· Lead on-site implementation of 5S and visual management initiatives (e.g. SQCDME, Kanban,etc.)
· Contribute to training and coaching to develop and raise employee awareness and competence levels in continuous improvement, including training on effective tools for successful project leadership. · Promote the integration of continuous improvement tools into the business’ activities. · Help in facilitating root cause analyses to identify and resolve process inefficiencies, as needed.
Required · LEAN or Six Sigma Certification from a recognized organization (such as AME or ASQ) - Green Belt as a minimum An asset · Hands-on experience with LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/ or Lean Six Sigma (LSS) principles, with a recognized external certification is a plus. · Hands-on experience if a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry is a plus. · Proficiency with Microsoft Projects and Cognos BI are plus.
