Company Overview: Causeway Capital Management LLC provides equity investment management services primarily to institutional clients including corporations, pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, superannuation funds, public retirement plans, Taft-Hartley pension plans, endowments and foundations, mutual funds and other collective investment vehicles, charities, private trusts and funds, model and SMA programs, and other institutions. The independent, 100% employee-and former employee-owned firm, based in Los Angeles, began operations in June 2001 and manages international, global, emerging market, small cap and sustainable equity strategies. Causeway employs a unique blend of fundamental and quantitative investment strategies and offers its clients access to the firm’s proprietary risk analytics.

Position Overview: The Rotational Internship is structured to introduce the graduate student to the investment management industry while gaining exposure to various departments within the firm. Department rotations will be based upon interest, prior experience, and the needs of specific departments. Possible rotations include research, client service, business development, systems, and investment technology. Thoughtfully designed projects and knowledgeable mentors will guide the intern through each rotation.

Projects may further develop the intern’s understanding of:

  • Financial models and company analysis
  • Practices associated with Sustainability.
  • Causeway’s clients, their strategies, monthly cash flows, performance measurement, and data management
  • The presentation process for existing and prospective clients

Upon the successful completion of the internship and with consideration of the firm’s needs, exceptional candidates may be considered for a full-time offer.

Skills and Abilities:

  • BA/BS with excellent academic credentials and examples of leadership.
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree; completion expected 2026.
  • Basic experience in a related financial field preferred.
  • Demonstrated teamwork balanced with the ability to direct independent work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to overcome obstacles or challenges encountered in advancing education or career objectives.
  • Robust analytical aptitude, with a noted high level of accuracy.
  • Very organized with focused attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
  • Accounting and computer skills, including Excel modeling preferred.
  • Highest level of ethics.
  • Creativity and intellectual curiosity.

Wages: Based on an annual salary of $170,000 ($6,538.47 paid biweekly). Additionally, a moving/ housing stipend is offered as part of the summer internship package, if applicable.
