Retail Operations & Web Coordinator

The mission of the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to “Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line”.  WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point.  Our vision is to ensure the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world.   USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution.  The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a full time Retail Operations & Web Coordinator.  This position reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations, with daily oversight by the Retail Manager.

The Retail Operations & Web Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Retail Operations social media pages and the Gift Shop website to include: ensuring new product is uploaded in a timely manner; removing all discontinued product; using necessary programs such as Adobe Photoshop to create and maintain visually impactful photographs of product; properly categorizing product to enhance the online shopping experience; working with Retail Graphic Designer to upload web banners seasonally; creating and uploading reunion site pages and order forms; creating and maintaining a social media calendar to grow the web presence of the Gift Shop; as well as other duties assigned.  Additionally, the incumbent will be required to work all home Army Football games, as well as some flexible scheduling as needed.

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.  An Associate’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.  Above average knowledge of basic web technologies, and Adobe Create Cloud programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator are required for this position.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel also required.  Knowledge of HTML and Celerant Mura is a plus.   Excellent customer service and communication skills plus the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision are essential. The incumbent must also be responsible, highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a positive attitude.  Excellent writing, organization, and time management skills are necessary.  Salary commensurate with skills and experience.  Please submit cover letter, resume, and letters of reference.
