Job Description:

·         The Senior Logistician (LGT4) will support the development of the ILS program and data for a US Navy Watercraft program in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division Detachment Norfolk, Combatant Craft Division (NSWCCDDN), Code 83.

·         The candidate shall develop and support the planning, cost estimating, budgeting, and implementation of an effective product support strategy that addresses the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements designed to deliver system readiness while optimizing total system life cycle cost.

It is desired that the candidate has experience in supporting the following US Navy logistics:

·         The candidate shall support the incorporation of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) analysis in design efforts to ensure systems are supportable over the life expectancy of a watercraft.

·         The candidate shall develop Maintenance Concept and Planning and Supply Support (provisioning data, technical data, Engineering data for provisioning) information using Expanded Ship Work Breakdown Structure.

·         The candidate shall develop Maintenance Plans, functional block diagrams based on RCM.

·         The candidate shall have a working knowledge of the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) Data File Exchange in support of watercraft ILS requirements.

·         The candidate should have a working knowledge of Obsolescence Management, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) Configuration Management (CM) and Training.

 Required Skills and Experience:

·         Must be a U.S. citizen.

·         An active secret clearance.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

·         Ten (10) years of experience in the development of Product Support Packages and coordination of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) of systems and equipment directly related to watercraft.

·         Ability to develop and synchronize support across multiple configurations and systems.

·         Five (5) years of experience including Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and Obsolescence Management, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Configuration Management (CM) and Training.

Degree requirements:

·         Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
