Senior Engineer

Job Description:

·       The incumbent will be the Senior Engineer responsible for leading the team responsible for providing engineering services in support of COMSUBPAC (N4) in their delivery of technical assistance to the submarine fleet.

 Required Skills and Experiences:

Minimum:

•         3+ yrs demonstrated experience directly related to one or more of the following areas:  Fly-by-Wire Ship Control Systems (SCS), Structures (design, loading analysis and predictions), or Radiological Safety / Hazard Mitigation

•         Ability to perform routine tasks in the MS Office suite

•         Proficiency in both written and verbal communication of moderately complex technical and administrative products.

 Desired:

•         Training and/or documented work experience performing Risk Management as defined within MIL-STD-882 and NAVSEAINST 5000.8.

•         3+ yrs experience working in a shipyard or working aboard ships and/or submersibles.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Engineering

·       Must be a U.S. citizen.

·       A secret security clearance.
