Journeyman Welder Kings Bay, GA Journeyman Welder with five (5) years verifiable experience in the welding trade in heavy industrial applications (i.e., shipbuilding, power plant construction, commercial building construction or bridge construction). Must be proficient in Submerged Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux-Core Automatic Welding (FCAW) and Gas Tungston Arc Welding (GTAW). Accomplish the tack welding and production welding of the ship's structures utilizing blueprints and technical work documents. Welding structures and fittings to include, but not limited to, bulkheads, equipment foundations, hangers, ladders, and stanchions; and fitting up and making structures ready for welding to include, but not limited to, chipping, beveling, hand-grinding and cleaning of surfaces to be welded. Perform post-weld clean-up of ship’s structural repair areas. Requirements:
