NaphCare is hiring an experienced Biomedical Technician - PRN just like you to join our team at the Goose Creek Correctional facility located in Wasilla, Alaska.  PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing. 

Position Description:

  • Ensure all equipment is functioning in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications
  • Develop, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • ​Ensure disinfection of water delivery system
  • Collaborate to evaluate and recommend purchasing of new equipment and supplies
  • ​Conduct emergency equipment repair when necessary
