Manager, Operations Support (Clearing Operations)
 

Reporting to the Head of Operations Support Department, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervision to service of Paper Cheque and Electronic clearing, CCASS and FINI. Cross team support to Payment Collection, Autopay, Account Opening, FPS, MPF, Transaction Processing and Fixed Deposit might be required when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Clearing sub-teams and monitor clearing related services transactions to ensure that internal/ external customers are satisfied;
  • Process the Paper and Electronic clearing, CCASS and FINI transactions compliant with internal policies/ bank procedure and local regulatory requirements;
  • Perform checker and supervisor role for Paper & Electronic clearing, CCASS and FINI transactions to check and reconcile relevant documents, vouchers, reports to ensure accuracy and completion within service standard;
  • Monitor the proper status of all activities in the Department and prepare regular and ad hoc management report to superior;
  • Lead the administration, processing and operations in the Department to ensure compliance with established procedure;
  • Assist with regulatory and ad hoc projects as assigned;
  • Perform back-up function to Operations Support teams.

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Degree holder or above;
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in banking operations, in which, 3 years must be at supervisory level in operations with emphasis on centralized processing and management function;
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of banking operations procedures, general banking products & facilities and customer requirements;
  • Good knowledge in information technology and project management;
  • Able to work independent and under pressure;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-motivated with analytical mind.
