Job Description: 

 

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for our DRRS Space Force contract. Our team has over sixteen years on the current project.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Will work directly with developers, testers, and other roles active to translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Collaborate with team to develop and define sprint backlog.
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Be available to answer team questions and provide guidance.
  • Anticipate customer and stakeholder needs.
  • On the data side, you will work with appropriate organizations to identify relevant data sources as the primary liaison for Memorandums of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement.
  • As a key member of the team, you will be required to mine data for new business rules, resolve inconsistencies such as missing/bad data, and support complex queries from data source partners or customers.
  • Coordinate with the DoD customer to communicate product status and alignment to the organization’s needs.

 

Here's what you need:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development and associated life-cycle processes. Expert knowledge within the field in which the candidate's solution is being implemented.
  • At least 1 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development.
  • High degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles.
  • Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, APIs, real time alerts, etc. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are considered necessary, as you will regularly meet with senior military officers involved in plans, policy, training management, and readiness assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of / commitment to work with DoD Readiness.
  • Interest in delivering data-driven solutions using a customer-first mindset.
  •  Ability to support a high-performing software development team as a lead business analyst and functional team Product Owner.
  •  Comfortable interfacing end-to-end as a proxy for the users and customers.

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Military Readiness / DoD experience desired
  • Top Secret Clearance desired
  • Master's Degree in Technical Discipline desired

 

Security Clearance:

  • Eligible to Obtain

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience directly related to the requirements for this position.
