Job Role

We have an opening for a motivated, mid-level Full-Stack Engineer in our Norfolk, VA location!


As the Full Stack Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with an Agile development team to build & advance a complex readiness assessment application used by the US Military
  • Propel functionality within the defined solution architecture while keeping user interaction in mind
  • Push for solution elegance that will fuel critical examination of source code to locate and address errors, defects, or inconsistencies.
  • Directly contribute to the nation’s security strategy by making thoughtful technical decisions, developing clean design and writing high quality code!


We’re seeking someone with:

A BS in Computer Science or Engineering plus 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • a Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of hands-on experience OR1
  • 10 years of direct software engineering experience in lieu of four-year degree.


At least four years of experience successfully building:

  • Client-side Web Application development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, Vue.js/ES6+ Native CustomElements.
  • Building restful services using Microsoft ASP.NET MVC/WebApi C# frameworks, including .NET Core, EntityFramework and Dapper


As well as

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Database Development
  • Source Control with GIT
  • Scrum/Agile Software Development Practices
  • A reasonable understanding of databases & database design and/or, some hands-on experience designing databases with MS SQL Server.
  • A positive attitude and are open to collaborating with teammates but, willing to work independently, as work-flow dictates
  • A dedication for creating apps that customers enjoy using
  • Your ability to obtain a DoD-issued, secret-level security clearance is key for success in this role (a clearance not required upon hire but, may be necessary per project requirements and/or as your functional role evolves over time)
  • A willingness to help shape the careers of junior-level developers
  • A steady focus on the overarching solution architecture while ensuring project architectural artifacts & software development tasks foster the system’s evolution.



  • Cloud development experience/knowledge (Azure preferred)
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
