We’re hiring a Data/Functional Analyst for a remote/telework role in the Norfolk, VA area to work with Ironclad’s Financial Management Team. The successful candidate must be in the Eastern Standard Time Zone. The Data/Functional Analyst provides software, communications, networking, and/or related information systems functional analysis support to our team.  Due to the nature of the role, only U.S. Citizens may be considered.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work with key project stakeholders to formulate and communicate the business vision and to gather and document requirements
• Work as a liaison between technical personnel and client subject matter expert
• Organizes stories, identifies gaps, writes use cases, and drafts workflows in order to validate requirements
• Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing
• Manage development backlog for financial management application
• Assists in collecting and organizing information for preparation of SCR’s (system change requests) and SRS’s (software requirement specifications)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
• Clearance: Secret
• Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ years providing business analysis support
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; in lieu of degree, an additional four years of experience may be substituted
• Proficiency with requirements gathering, requirements analysis, requirements review, and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with project stakeholders in order to translate business needs and technical issues
• Familiar with Agile IT development
• Ability to support writing, editing, or review of documentation
• Have knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Products
• Proven familiarity and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Familiarity with operational and enterprise reporting a plus
