Position Description: PMS 340 (Naval Special Warfare) manages acquisition programs for Naval Special Warfare Command (WARCOM). The contractor shall provide remote administrative assistance in developing and managing developmental and operational test events for multiple programs. Tasks will be performed remotely with occasional in-person meetings at the Washington Navy Yard, D.C. and other locations as directed by the program office. Job Responsibilities: Contractor shall provide engineering guidance, test planning and engineering documentation development support to include, but not limited to: · Search for and locate templates for all required acquisition engineering documentation for program office efforts · Provide guidance and advice for program office engineering efforts to include engineering document development, test planning, test analysis, engineering oversight, configuration management and program integration. Technical documentation/configuration data in format digestible by leadership · Populating engineering documentation templates with appropriate program information and assisting in formatting engineering data in a format digestible by leadership · Building new acquisition engineering plans, analyses, briefings and documentation as required to move programs through the acquisition lifecycle and as required by Naval Sea Systems Command and SOF AT&L · Review and edit technical engineering acquisition documentation, plans, analyses and briefings associated with multiple different program office efforts · Assist PMs and APMs with acquisition engineering requirements, specifically, keeping efforts in compliance with systems engineering, test engineering and configuration management · Attendance at Program/Project reviews, Integrated Product Team meeting, design reviews or other meetings as tasked · Maintain an auditable configuration control process documenting temporary or permanent changes to engineering plans, briefings and documentation configuration. The contractor shall utilize an appropriate document CM tool to communicate documentation configuration changes to the PM and APMs Skills and Qualifications: · The candidate must have at least five years’ experience in Department of Defense acquisition test planning with an expert knowledge of the required events, analyses, and reviews · Desired experience in test planning within SOF AT&L or Naval Sea Systems Command · Proficient at Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Nature of Deliverables: · All deliverables shall comply with SOCOM and PEO USC templates · PMS 340 shall have thirty days to review all deliverables from the contractor · The contractor shall incorporate all comments and resubmit deliverables for approval · The contractor shall deliver data, reports, and briefings to PMS 340 as required Clearance: · Active SECRET clearance. Willing to process up to TS/SCI if required.
