PMS340 extended community LOGSU8 requires advisory and assistance services for establishment of a Logistics Managment Office to enhance logistics deployment capabilities.  This initiative requires contract analyst support in providing advisory and assistance services to establish an organic capability to develop, test and manage alternative transportation methods to increase logistics deployment options in support of LOGSU8.

Individual selected to fill the position must have credentials and background suitable for providing technical guidance and leadership for the LMO.  The individual's primary responsibilities include provision of his/her technical expertise and assistance to government officials involved in overseeing completion of tasks involving CONUS And OCONUS planning, research, equipment acquisitions, logistics testing, infrastructure rental, and fabrication of specialized materials to enhance logistics deployment capabilities.  This includes defining scope of work, estimating number of days required to complete work, provision of advise to leadership as to the number and skill levels of resonnel required to do the work, schedule the work, observe the work, and to track progress of the work.  The contract support analyst shall provide counsel and guidance as well as direct assistance in constructing policies and procedures designed to  assure technical rigor and planning and safe execution of operations.  The applicant's resume should include experience and formal training information to convince the Cydecor contract PM that he/she has sufficient knowledge of the logistics / LMO functions to warrant more detailed discussions subsequent to applying for the position.  During those discussion a more detailed description of the nature of probable taskings will be provided. 

Individual experience and competencies desired are listed below:

In-depth knowledge and experience in NSW.  Experience and knowledge of management and organizational principles.  Significant experience and knowledge of budget, fiscal policy, acquisition an administration of financial and material resources.  Knowledge of team building skills.  Ability to assist in managing resources, establishing goals and meeting targeted objectives.  Ability to participate in Negotiations and group discussions of assigned projects.  Knowledge and ability to provide assistance and counsel relative to overseeing construction contracts.  Minimum of 15 years of experience dealing with matters similar to those stated above.  

Clearance required is TS. 

A College degree is required. 

Prior military service in Special Forces is highly desirable.
