  Cydecor is a growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable full-time mid-level Accounts Payable & Accounting Support Specialist to work in our corporate offices in Arlington, Virginia supporting the finance and accounting team. Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews purchase orders, statements, and vendor invoices to verify amounts owed are accurate
• Reviews subcontractor invoices for accuracy and completeness and verifies subcontractors have valid task orders
• Processes all vendor and subcontractor invoices in the accounting and ERP system
• Processes other financial obligations in accordance with company policies
• Resolves vendor and subcontractor billing and payments issues
• Responds to vendor inquiries
• Maintains and reconciles the accounts payable ledger and AP Aging Schedule
• Processes employee expense reports per company policy
• Prepares and process company payments and EFT transfers per company policy
• Prepares weekly cash reports
• Performs other routine accounting activities

  • Preparation of Spreadsheets
  • Account reconciliations

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field 
• Three (3+) years related experience preferably with a GovCon company 
• Experience working with Deltek CostPoint preferred
• Multi-company accounting experience is a plus
• Experience with Navy/DoD contracting a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles required
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
