Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Critical Care Unit team!  This role is essential in providing hands-on patient care and supporting nurses in a high-acuity environment such as the CCU. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting where patients require close monitoring and specialized care.

Starting Wage: $21.74+ / hour, depending on experience.

Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.

Job Summary:

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide basic nursing care and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direct supervision of a RN, participates in other hospital committees and teams as appropriate and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for the Job:

License(s): Current State of Alaska Certified Nurse Assistant License.

Certification(s): 

  •         Basic Life Support (BLS), Alaska Food Workers Card (Wildflower Court only), Techniques for Effective Aggression Mgt (TEAM) & Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) training within 90 days of hire.

Experience: No prior experience required. CNA I’s are required  to complete initial advanced skills training checklists  and advance to CNA II level within 6 months.

Other: Must be 18 years of age to work in Wildflower Court, must be 16 years of age to work in Bartlett Hospital

  • All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen prior to start of employment. BRH does not test for marijuana.
