Saddleback Maturity Leadership Expectations

While serving on Saddleback staff, you will be viewed as a member of leadership. We ask staff members to commit to certain lifestyle expectations, to be in a position to effectively minister to others, and be maturing as believers. At a minimum this means that:

You understand that Saddleback Church membership is a requirement of employment

You are committed to worshipping at Saddleback on a weekly basis

You will commit to having a daily quiet time

You understand the importance of and are committed to tithing

You will commit to completing Class 201,301,401 and Foundations within your first year of employment

You and your spouse will willingly refrain from activities that could cause a new believer to stumble such as consuming alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, abuse of prescription drugs, and gambling of any type.

​If you are single, you are committed to sexual purity outside of marriage and you would only date believers.

If you are married, you are in a biblically based marriage where both you and your spouse are mature baptized believers, members of Saddleback Church, and active in ministry.
