We’re OptiTrack, makers of the most precise wide area tracking systems on earth. We’re looking for more stars to add to our team to continue to improve our excellent product lineup and public messaging.

You will be authoring comprehensive technical documentation for our products including our flagship software product, Motive.

What you'll do:

·         Become an in-house domain expert on our products by participating in software QA and other activities that expose you to product features.

·         Develop technical documentation on our interactive documentation wiki ( https://docs.optitrack.com )

·         Potentially contribute user stories, press releases, web copy, brochures and other copy under marketing direction.

What you'll bring: 

·         Comfortable learning or already familiar with motion capture technology and markets.

·         Previous technical and/or creative writing experience.

·         Passion for details and fastidious about creating exceptional content.

·         Ability to work with minimal oversight and with excellent team communication.

Bonus Points For

·         Experience working with online wikis and content management systems.

·         Experience with 3D graphics programs and environments like Maya, SketchUp, Unreal Engine, or Unity.

This position reports to our HQ in Corvallis, OR, but remote candidates are welcome. While we prefer full-time employment, part-time applicants will also be considered. If you are a great match, please apply!
