Here’s where you come in:
We are currently in search of a Project Manager for our New Construction-Mechanical team in Seattle. We are looking for someone who likes to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work on multi-million dollar projects. You will be joining an established and diverse team where you will be able to make an immediate impact. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about solving problems and achieving goals, this may be the right position for you!
You're great at:
As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with managing and executing the construction process from estimate turnover to final completion. Communication is key in this position as you will be the primary contact for project engineering staff during the construction phase and will need to communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve the project goals. You will also work closely with the field and operations leadership team to identify needed resources, create and execute build plans and identify and eliminate risk in the project. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong sense of ownership, be technically sound, and be a strong team player and leader.
As a Project Manager, you will assume financial responsibility for projects including accurate, timely, and relevant cost and revenue reporting to stakeholders. This also includes facilitating invoice payments from clients and to subcontractors, reviewing and approving subcontractor billing, and preparing client and subcontractor change orders. You will also be responsible for assessing any potential job cost impacts and negotiating and tracking all change orders requests.
As a Project Manager, you will be working closely with a dynamic team, with opportunities for coaching and mentoring project team members. You will be tasked with developing project staffing plans, establishing and leading associated meetings while defining individual project responsibilities. This may be a good fit if you enjoy working in a team atmosphere on projects with long durations.
