Here's where you come in: 

We are currently seeking a Program Manager – Measurement & Verification (M&V) Services to join our team as a member of our growing Rocky Moutain Technical Services division. You will lead the M&V team in delivering M&V services with excellence to McKinstry’s clients.  Also, you will lead the effort to evolve McKinstry’s M&V services to continually provide more value and to keep McKinstry’s competitive advantage in the market.

In this role you will lead the Mountain Region Measurement and Verification team in three key areas:   


People Management:   

You will manage and mentor the Mountain Region Measurement and Verification   team consisting of 2 high-performing engineering professionals, supporting hiring efforts, developing project staffing plans, and directing the development and implementation of training programs.  

Customer Service:   

We will look to you to build, establish, and manage meaningful client relationships, providing a single point of contact for clients regarding commissioning project timelines for key/strategic accounts. 


Project and Business Development:   

You will support project development by implementing and managing m easurement and verification  procedures and assisting with project issue resolution. With the support of the team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for McKinstry’s Business Development team for all M&V-related sales pursuits, leading the technical response and budget development for new opportunities.  


What we would like to see from you: 

  • 8 – 12 years relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Measurement & Verification
  • Expertise in building systems and building energy consumption
  • Expertise in energy savings calculations
  • Expertise in IPMVP and FEMP M&V guidelines
  • Deep knowledge of Energy Performance Contracts – how they work, how they are executed, and how they are managed post-installation
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, eQuest, and EnergyPlus energy calculations and models
  • Familiarity with building automation and control systems
  • CPMVP certification highly desired
  • Proficient in Communication/Teaming/Internal and External Interactions.
  • Proficient in project management/people leadership/sales acumen.
  • Technical Degree (desired), Engineering Degree (desired) or equivalent work experience.
