We are currently seeking a Superintendent to join our team as a member of our growing Rocky Mountain Energy division. You will be joining an established and diverse group of people where you will be able to make an immediate impact. Project Management

In this position, you are the face of McKinstry on the project site. You will be tasked with developing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and writing/reviewing scopes of work. You will develop RFIs as required to document changes to the scope of work and hold meetings for proper project execution.


As a Superintendent, you will oversee field personnel who may include union and non-union workers. Additionally, you will act as a conduit of communication regarding progress and logistics between clients and subcontractors. 


You will uphold and communicate McKinstry safety standards. You will coordinate with safety team to create and communicate site safety plan.


What we would like to see from you: 

  • OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of assuming the position.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak required.
  • Knowledge of construction management, commercial building process, and OSHA standards required.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Four (4) years of leadership of trades and job sites preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture or Facilities Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
